Key Responsibilities:
- Personnel Management: Assist in the administration of Navy personnel policies, procedures, and records, including processing promotions, assignments, and separations.
- Recruitment & Retention: Support the recruitment process by helping to manage hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts, ensuring that the Navy attracts and retains qualified personnel.
- Benefits Administration: Help manage and process benefits for active duty and veteran personnel, including health insurance, housing allowances, and retirement planning.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a liaison between personnel and leadership to address concerns, ensure compliance with Navy policies, and foster a positive work environment.
- Training & Development: Coordinate and assist in the development of training programs, career development, and mentorship initiatives to support the professional growth of Navy sailors.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate personnel records and generate reports on staffing, performance, and other HR metrics to support Navy leadership and decision-making.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with Navy policies, labor laws, and military regulations, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to security clearance requirements.
- Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support for personnel matters, including preparing documents, processing paperwork, and handling employee inquiries.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in implementing new HR policies and initiatives as directed by Navy leadership to improve efficiency and morale.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen/Legal Resident or Green card holder
- Age Requirements: Must be between 18 and 41 years old.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
