U.S. News Education is the industry leader and largest education platform helping millions of students in the U.S. and internationally decide what is the best university or college for them. Through our in-depth and comprehensive school profiles, school comparison solutions, scholarship programs and financing options every student has what they need to engage directly with the school they are interested in.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales professional to join our team. An executive that is a passionate, competitive and empathetic sales leader to continue the growth of our higher education business As a Sr. Director, Education Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth in the higher education industry. U.S. News provides industry leading enrollment management, marketing, market research and custom advertising solutions for admission, enrollment and marketing executives at universities and colleges.
Are you up to the challenge?
- Sales strategy: Create and implement solution partnership programs to increase revenue and achieve revenue goals
- Market research: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Sales team management: Lead and motivate a sales team, and define and communicate key performance indicators and targets
- Customer relationships: Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and other companies
- Sales performance: Monitor sales performance and quotas, and adjust them as needed
- Sales reports: Use data and reporting to navigate the business and maximize its output - thoroughly understand the data and results
- CRM: Foster the power of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and guidelines
- Work cross functionally with internal stakeholder teams, including Marketing and Sales, product, finance, and operations, to ensure workflows and execution align to support client retention efforts.
- Attend industry conferences to connect with key clients at scale and expand relationships.
- Build and foster team culture in a hybrid work environment.
You should definitely have:
- Minimum of eight years of similar or related experience in the field of software sales, with a track record of being able to hit and exceed quarterly revenue goals, inclusive of at least two years in the higher education industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
- Deep connections with education institutions and industry leaders
- A track record of driving new business and developing deep client relationships
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively convey ideas to clients and close deals.
- Results-oriented mindset with self-motivation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

- The anticipated base salary for this position is $120,000 to $180,000. This position is also eligible for an annual Sales bonus plan. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
