Oral Surgery Assistant – Part Time (Ellicott City, MD)

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Surgical Technologist/ Surgical Assistant for our Ellicott City Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Office.
Part Time: Monday, Thursday, Friday 6:45am – 12:30pm (some Wednesdays)
The Surgical Technologist will provide clinical support by assisting surgeon in oral surgery cases. Excellent working environment, great staff, competitive salary, and free parking offered. No evenings and no weekends!
Surgical Technologist Responsibilities:
- Ensures sterility of all supplies and instruments during set up of surgical procedures.
- Assists surgeons and surgical team members during office based oral surgery procedures.
- Assists in set ups and sterilization of necessary surgical supplies and equipment.
- Patient anesthesia recovery and discharge with instructions.
Qualifications Surgical Technologist Requirements:
- Radiology Certificate (X-Ray Certification) is a must
- Certification in Dental Assisting
- Current Certified Basic Life Support
- Surgical Assisting experience in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent patient care skills
