Description
The Procurement Analyst reports to the Procurement Manager at USOSM and supports the Procurement department through a range of activities, including but not limited to, Vendor Management, Sourcing Support, Project Planning & Execution, Data Analysis and Ticketing Support.
The Procurement Analyst will play a critical role in enabling and interpreting data-driven analytics to support USOSM partner decision and operational improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as a liaison supporting relationships between partner practices and vendors
- Support USOSM surgeon partners and operators by generating spend reports and providing general guidance on best procurement practices
- Collaborate with surgeon partners to define and refine formulary
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify savings opportunities and track savings achieved from cost reduction initiatives
- Maintain vendor pricing files in centralized procurement platform
- Monitor vendor performance and effectively communicate results to vendors
- Support strategic sourcing projects as needed
- Identify inefficiencies within current processes and recommend solutions
- Work closely with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and align on sourcing strategies
- Project management and implementation
- Performs other duties as assigned
