POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking an outstanding Oral Surgery Scheduler to join our team.

The Strategic Surgery Scheduler reports to the Sr. Manager of Scheduling Optimization and is responsible for managing multi-line, high-volume calls, accurately reviewing medical records and insurance, and scheduling patients for multiple surgeons. Building and nurturing relationships with referring practices will be paramount, alongside the meticulous task of verifying patient insurance coverage.
As the linchpin between our practice and our valued patients, you will be the orchestrator of seamless scheduling, meticulous medical record reviews, and fostering crucial relationships with referring practices.

Essential Job Functions
- Answers up to one hundred calls a day to support oral surgery practice.
- Prepares, maintains, and monitors schedules for multiple providers.
- Resolves scheduling conflicts by canceling and rescheduling appointments to ensure surgeon schedules are full.
- Produces and processes schedules and reports as administrative staff requests them.
- Exercising or conducting a variety of admin duties and responsibilities as required.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all information held on the scheduling system and related intranet applications,
Qualifications and Skills
- Superior communication skills are non-negotiable, allowing you to navigate interactions with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders with ease.
- Demonstrate a proven record of growth or improvement within your previous roles, highlighting your commitment to excellence.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in high-pressure, demanding environments, adeptly juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must have exceptional computer skills; proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office software, is essential to hit the ground running.
- Previous scheduling experience (preferably in the medical or dental field).
- Proven record of growth or improvement within your position.
- Experienced with customer service techniques.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is a prerequisite, backed by a history of excellence in administrative roles.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in dental front office and direct customer service.
