Surgical Assistant/Implant Coordinator for team-oriented/patient-centered Mid-San Fernando Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice.
We are a well-established, full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery practice committed to delivering the highest standard of surgical care in a respectful, patient-centered environment. Our office specializes in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, corrective jaw surgery, and a range of advanced oral surgical procedures. We pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive and professional team culture with a focus on patient experience and clinical excellence.
We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Oral Surgery Assistant / Dental Implant Treatment Coordinator. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and growth-oriented practice where your skills and professionalism are valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside assistance during oral surgery procedures
- Coordination and presentation of dental implant treatment plans
- Patient education regarding procedures, pre-and post-operative care
- Maintenance of accurate and thorough electronic medical records (EMR)
- Cross-functional support for front and back-office operations
- Clear, courteous communication with patients, staff, and referring offices
Required Qualifications:
- Experience as an oral surgery assistant and dental implant coordinator
- Familiarity with dental implant systems, particularly Nobel Biocare DTX Studio and Straumann Co-Diagnostics
- Current x-ray license
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and computer-based EMR systems
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently
- Dependable, punctual, and professional conduct
Preferred Qualifications:
- OMSA (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant) certification
- Prior experience with treatment presentation and patient care coordination

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
No evenings or weekends
