The following position is for employment with:
Hattiesburg Oral Surgery & Implant Center
1421 South 28th Avenue Hattiesburg, MS 39402
Objective:
- Position requires excellent customer service skills with patients, employees and the general public. Individual must be flexible, organized and must be able to manage a demanding workload with accuracy.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the clinical staff to ensure correct plan for discharge
- Discuss plans with family members of all the patients
- Responsible for making sure that the patient has referrals for other healthcare providers whose services may be needed after initial treatment.
- Verify follow up appointments made
- Work closely with other team members in order to ensure the best possible care
- Make sure that all patients are discharged to the appropriate transportation
- Make sure that supplies are kept stocked
- Maintain common areas and keep neat and clean
- Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies
- Any other duties deemed necessary by your immediate supervisor
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent, dental or medical office setting recommended.
Professional Presence:
- Professional Phone Etiquette
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Dependability
- Self-motivator with follow through and quick problem solver
Certifications and Safety Requirements:
- Basic CPR Certification required
- Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant Certification preferred
- Hepatitis B Vaccination & Titer
- TB Vaccination & Titer
