Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons currently boasts an excellent team of board-certified general and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeons and is actively seeking a BE / BC orthopaedic trauma surgeon to join their team!

Coverage

  • Level 2 trauma hospital that carries a capture area of 1.7 million over 17 counties
  • Dedicated daily orthopaedic trauma room

  • Established group of 11 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers
  • 5 practice locations
  • 6 Physical or Occupational Therapists and 8 Physical Therapy Assistants
  • Opportunity for ownership in an advanced imaging center and ambulatory surgery center
  • Ancillaries include physical therapy, durable medical equipment and a walk in urgent orthopaedic care clinic open M-S 8am-8pm.

    • Education and Experience

  • BC / BE in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Must have completed Ortho Surgery residency
  • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patient focused, collaborative, team player
  • Eligible for or holding a valid Alabama medical license.
