Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. SALARY : GS-11 : $77,192 - $100,344 GS-12 : $92,520 - $120,282 COMPACFLT EEO Program public link : Responsibilities You will be responsible for Integrated Logistics Support and Ship Configuration and Logistics Support Information System planning. You will coordinate with numerous Shipyard codes and external Navy commands and contractors to identify logistic problems and lead a staff towards logistic problem resolution. You will plan and revise work schedules and sequence of operations, and provide timely updates of Integrated Logistics Support and Ship Configuration and Logistics Support Information System. You will manage, monitor, and coordinate the execution of complex configuration management and Integrated Logistics Support programs. You will monitor and control progress to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Integrated Logistics Support. You will ensure all elements are acquired in a timely fashion and complete to ensure adequate coverage of logistic package. You will serve as a consultant and authority to higher level management on policy and procedures. You will represent the branch as the singular authoritative and expert logistics management representative to various groups. You will attend conferences with officials from Naval Sea Systems Command, Type Commanders, Fleet Technical Support Centers, Supervisors of Shipbuilding, Configuration Data Manager, and other key parties. You will make formal presentations concerning Integrated Logistics Support at various conferences, committees, and meetings. You will prepare, monitor, and defend budget for Integrated Logistics Support and Ship Configuration and Logistics Support Information System. You will negotiate required funding changes and manage the allocation of funds to assure supportability. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-12 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Conducting analysis of integrated logistics support readiness and capabilities to provide feedback on supply and equipment support issues for ship projects or operations. FOR GS-11 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : providing support readiness and capabilities related to integrated logistics to provide equipment or supply issued for ship projects. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience : FOR GS-11 ONLY : Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree - OR Three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree - OR LL.M., if related to the position.
