MANAGEMENT ANALYST (MATERIAL)

Summary You will serve as MANAGEMENT ANALYST (MATERIAL) in the COMPLIANCE & STRATEGIC ANALYSIS DIVISION of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will conduct planning, developing, and analyzing material functions that affect multiple Shipyard Departments and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) PHNSY IMF operations. You will conduct or participate in material management surveys and research projects, providing advisory services on issues of varied scope and impact throughout the Shipyard. You will analyze and review documentation procedures and controls, files, directives, forms, records control and office automation. You will gather, analyze, and evaluate data and information concerning management processes, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate action. You will resolve user problems associated with material system and to anticipate or prepare written analyses of activities and problems with recommendations for solutions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR GS-11 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : analyzing material processes by conducting studies to identify and / or improve program inefficiencies. FOR GS-09 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : providing support in the analysis of material processes by conducting studies to recommend ways to improve program inefficiencies. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience : GS-11 Grade level : Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR Possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled. GS-09 Grade level : Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled. Additional Information This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
