Role Description
This is a full-time on-site locum tenens Physiatrist role located in Billings, MT. The Physiatrist will be responsible for providing rehabilitative care to patients in post-acute facilities and ensuring the highest level of care. The role involves conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing therapies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Medical degree and board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Experience in providing rehabilitative care and managing complex cases
- Ability to effectively assess and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare teams
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice in physiatry and rehabilitation
- Experience in pain management and interventional procedures
- Valid state medical license and DEA certification
