Job Description:
U.S. Pipe and Foundry is seeking a Reliability Engineering Intern. As a Reliability Engineering Intern, you will assist the Reliability and Maintenance team in ensuring the reliability of our equipment and efficiency of our maintenance processes. This internship will provide hands-on experience in reliability engineering, data analysis, and process improvement.
Essential Functions:
- Work with Maintenance Leadership on equipment reliability engineering, CAD/Inventor updating of equipment modification, critical path equipment categorization, scheduled downtime and project planning, as well as equipment design improvements.
- Update DWGs to reflect modifications/changes encountered or initiated with equipment.
- Work with vibration analysis tools monitoring our assets.
- Work with data analysis from vendors on oil sample results.
- Work with Maintenance Leadership on scheduling planned project work for Summer Shutdown 2025 and participating in coordinating Maintenance projects with Engineering projects.
- Work with Vendors who service critical equipment
Skills & Other Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
