PT Supervisor Job Description

Summary: Shares in the overall responsibility for generating maximum sales potential through upholding high customer service standards, maintaining store appearance, keeping merchandise filled to the appropriate levels on the sales floor and minimizing shortages.

Overall Responsibilities
 Receiving / Shipping merchandise and supplies

 Maintain organized stockroom and if applicable off-site storage area

 Demonstrate effective written and verbal communications skills

 Manage time and prioritize tasks

 Timely completion of all tasks assigned or delegated by supervisor

Customer Service / Sales
 As a leader, exemplify customer service and carry the branding message to sales associates

 Ensure customer service is the #1 priority

 Daily implementation of the S.P.O.R.T. customer service program

 Follow all customer service expectations as outlined in the Service Audit

Operations

 Ensure all paperwork related to receiving, shipping, RTV’s, and transfers are completed accurately. Where applicable maintain the off-site tracking log

 Report size and inventory issues / deficiencies to upper management

 Maintain and organize damages in the stockroom

 Ensure damages are prepared per policy for upper management review

 Maintain a well-organized stockroom and off-site to include housekeeping (mopping, bathroom cleanliness, break area, sweeping, etc.)

 Communicate supply needs i.e. cleaning supplies, bags, hangers, etc.

Personnel
 Demonstrate professional image and conduct. Follow USPA dress code policy

 Works as a member of the management team to accomplish store goals

 Lead by example and motivate associates to meet the goals and objectives

 Provide active direction to the stock team

 Supports all company / management decisions

Visual Presentation
 Maintain store appearance to reflect USPA standards to include marketing

 Complete floor-sets as requested by management and maintain priority color placement as directed by corporate

 Merchandise new product on the floor as needed. Replenish merchandise based on daily sell through

 Execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed
