JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description
The Target Salary Range for this position is : $99,518 - $120,000
The Senate Recording Studio is seeking a Broadcast Section Senior Supervisor for the Audio Production department. This role schedules and assigns work to be performed by the Audio Production staff. This person will also direct Senators’ in-studio and remote podcasts and news interviews using phone couplers and Media PCs with videoconferencing software such as Teams, Webex, and Zoom. This involves shift scheduling, scheduling shows using a scheduling program, recording productions on various equipment, and editing programs. The incumbent conducts job performance evaluations and has frequent contact with Senators, press secretaries, and SAA offices. The supervisor is also responsible for creating training materials including documents and video tutorials and assists in training new personnel.
Key Accountabilities / Essential Job Duties
- Supervises and coordinates Broadcast technicians and audio production personnel in the Radio department.
- Actively participates in daily operations of the radio division of SRS.
- Manages audio equipment and ensures that they meet the final production requirements.
- Provides training, guidance and support and a clear direction to ensure high quality sound production.
- Implements and updates production policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in radio / television production.
