We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for guiding and directing the hourly workforce, managing plant operations, and controlling costs through effective planning and management. You will work closely with our corporate engineering team to develop and execute production activities as outlined in our operation plan. Additionally, you will assure training, implementation, and maintenance of quality, health, safety, and environmental programs.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mining or a related field. They should also possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, and experience with maintenance programs like JD Edwards (SAP). The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with diverse personalities is essential for success in this role.
This position requires 70% indoor and 30% outdoor work, with the ability to maneuver throughout the plant and perform physical activities such as climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, and walking. The employee may be exposed to routine industrial health and safety hazards and will be required to use respirators, ear protection, eye protection, safety shoes, hard hats, and other designated safety equipment.
