To maintain and repair all heavy equipment and machinery.
Essential Job Functions:
- Inspect immediate work area prior to beginning operations.
- Start crusher, screens, conveyor belts, pumps, hydrosizer, filter belts, dryers, conveyors, and elevators in accordance with established procedures.
- Operate crusher and dryer and associated equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Operate a front-end loader.
- Perform operating adjustments and repairs as required.
- Shut down equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Clean-up and other duties as assigned.
- May perform maintenance tasks as required by management.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Good understanding of plant operations.
- Ability to work as part of a team with co-workers of various skill levels.
- Ability to work from elevated spaces in all weather conditions.
- Ability to operate the equipment required of this role.
