Description of Position : Serve as a United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) Sensitive Activities Coordinator, Subject Matter Expert and Specialist to plan, coordinate, synchronize, and advise command-wide sensitive activities, manage command-level programs, and facilitate the Sensitive Activities Integration Cell (SAIC) per direction of the J3X Division Chief.
Position Duties / Responsibilities :
- Plans, coordinates and advises leaders on implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches of substantial scope, difficulty, and complexity in areas of short / long-range strategic planning and development in support of Commander objectives
- Operationalizing sensitive intelligence in support of National Security objectives and policies throughout USSPACECOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) and across trans-regional boundaries.
- Plans and Coordinates Sensitive Activities (SA) operations and programs execution. Executes operational planning, coordination, and synchronization of sensitive activities. Works with other Combatant Commands, interagency, and USSPACECOM Components on operational plans and concepts for Combatant Commander approval.
- Uses expert knowledge from theories, principles, employment methods, and techniques to support policy and perform overall planning for the organization in the following areas : Irregular Warfare (IW), Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT), subversion, sabotage, Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE), Special Technical Operations (STO), Special Access Programs (SAP), Identity and Signatures Management (IdM), security management, and Sensitive Special Operations
- The incumbent writes or edits regulations, policies, guidelines and procedures amplifying or implementing DoD and Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) policy.
- Ensures the security, appropriateness, accuracy, and dissemination of all operational procedures and guidelines.
