Responsibilities Serves as the Command Lead Planner for Functional Defeat and Counter threat Integration (CTIC), Program within the G3 Division with primary responsibility for all Functional Defeat and emergent threats, planning and training issues. Coordinates and directs deliberate planning and provides subject matter expertise on Functional Defeat and CTIC for related crisis action planning as required. Represents USASOC at interagency, Joint Staff and international formal conferences, panels and Meetings involving Functional Defeat, CWMD and CTIC planning and training events. Regularly briefs USASOC General Officers on the status of Functional Defeat and Counter Threat Integration plans and potential future operations and coordinates for staff input for the same. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialist Experience : Have one-year of experience which includes : includes 1). Experience in development of CWMD training and operations within Special Operations Forces (SOF) Experience in operational environments such as Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED), Countering Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS), and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD). 2). Experience in developing CWMD doctrine and policy at the strategic / Major Army Command (MACOM) level; 3) Understanding SOCOM and HQDA requirements processes for the CWMD portfolio at the MACOM level; AND 4) Communicate orally and in writing with the ability to brief General Officers or Senior Executive Service personnel on support plans and analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade / level in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas : Planning and Evaluating Reading Comprehension Strategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement : Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
