What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Surveyor Trainee position at U.S. Surveyor, Inc.?
Train to become a Land Surveyor, eventually working on your own and traveling to our job sites, locally and Nationwide. The training period is up to how quickly you can grasp all the necessary knowledge to work on your own as a Land Surveyor. Training generally in a little as a year up to 2 years. You are supervised by a staff of licensed land surveyors that work full-time at our facility in Evansville, Indiana. Some travel on your own in as little as 6 months. You will be assigned a company vehicle to travel to job sites. Training initially will be AutoCAD training for technical aspects of land surveying
Job Requirements: Ability to grasp the technical aspects of Land Surveying. Past full-time employment is necessary for consideration. Honesty and ability to work full time consistently for 50 weeks a year. A good work ethic is required. Any past technical training is a plus.
If you enjoy working in all types of outdoor settings and working on your own this is the job for you. A driver’s license and a vehicle to come to work is required. This job is best suited for a person that lives within 30 miles or less of Evansville, Indiana
