Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Assembles production by hand or mechanical means provided.
- Knowledge of operation and maintains efficiency required to meet job specifications, production times and quality standards.
- Reports defective parts to Group Leader and / or Supervisor.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches and process drawings.
- Uses scales, micrometers, calipers and gages necessary for quality requirement.
- Knowledge of forklift operations.
- Performs set-ups on equipment required for any assembly requirement.
- Perform other related duties as directed by Group Leader and / or Supervisor when production schedule demands it.
- Employee is required to frequently lift, pull and push metal components weighing between 2-7 lbs.
- Occasionally lift, pull and push chain components in excess of 50lbs up to a maximum of 75lbs.
