About The Role
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability across different healthcare departments and service lines, considering factors like patient volume, payer mix, and reimbursement rates. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the annual budget planning process, and monitoring performance against budget, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions. Financial Reporting: Prepare insightful financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and areas of opportunity, including variance analysis and actionable insights. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic financial plans, evaluating potential new services, acquisitions, or expansion opportunities within the healthcare market. Payer and Service Mix Analysis: Analyze the impact of different payer and service mix changes on revenue and profitability, identifying opportunities to optimize patient revenue cycle management. Provider Production and Compensation: Calculate provider compensation models and bonus calculations, compile and distribute monthly provider production reports, produce ad-hoc provider reporting. Revenue Recognition: Compile monthly revenue recognition files for accounting teams.

Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Expertise in financial analysis software (Excel, Power BI, SAP) and healthcare specific systems (EHR, billing platforms)
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, billing codes (CPT, ICD-10), reimbursement mechanisms (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers), and industry trends
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and data interpretation to identify key financial drivers
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before individuals or groups of people.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrate a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude towards co-workers and public.
