Job Description

Receive, store, transport, supply and ship material using various industrial equipment including dock plates, pallet jacks, hand carts, powered push carts and forklifts.

Essential Functions

  • Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, product, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
  • Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
  • Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
  • Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
  • Unloads incoming trucks and receives items utilizing MRP system.
  • Transfers incoming materials to proper warehouse locations.
  • Kits parts for work orders assigned during production.
  • Executes transactions and records data utilizing MRP system scanner from warehouse to assembly lines as needed.
  • Stage, label, inspect scan and load finished goods onto outbound trucks.
  • Recharges batteries, fills fuel tanks, or replaces liquefied gas tank.
  • Utilize MRP system to receive product, control inventory, and pick parts for internal use and for customer shipments.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Must be reliable in attendance and work successfully in a team environment.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) and various Inventory Control programs.

  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, business correspondence and memos.
  • Also, ability to write simple documents and correspondence, ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be Certified to operate Forklift, and able to train others.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to talk or hear at moderate to loud noise levels.
  • The associate is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.

  • Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
  • Must hold and maintain current driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel Local and Abroad.
  • Represent US Yachiyo’s best interest in matters of Inventory Management.
  • The performance of this position requires frequent exposure to the manufacturing areas that may require the use of personal personal protective equipment such as ear, eye, head and foot.
  • Primary environment: cold or warm work temperatures according to outside weather conditions; sometimes extreme cold or warm conditions apply.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.71 - $22.36 per hour
