Job Description

Oversee the Quality Management System Documentation for USY by leading ISO quality audits, leading the internal audit process and taking appropriate countermeasures. Coordinates various certification processes with the appropriate registrars. Also oversees the external annual audits for MYJ QAV and YOA. Position functions include, but are not limited to, those set forth below.

Essential Functions

Lead auditor for Quality Management System; ensure processes meet established QMS standards.

Communicate performance measures to Managers/Senior Managers, making improvement recommendations based on results.

Interpret QMS and Customer requirements, and promote awareness throughout the organization via training, documentation, and other avenues.

Manage internal audits and report progress and results to Management.

Work with other Yachiyo facilities to assist with Global QMS implementation / preservation.

Work with outside vendors to secure and maintain applicable quality certifications.

Manages and coordinates USY’s instrument calibration process.

Assist with the preparation of Annual Business Plan and Budgets; provide data for Management Review.

Prepares various reports including QMS, Process Flow Charts, and Training Matrices.

Lead for Document Control, provides instruction for back up role.

Compliance lead for Redzone and works with departments to keep checks accurate.

Other tasks as required by Management.

Must be able to interpret Quality Management Systems requirements and maintain accurate records.

Requires excellent training and communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provides leadership for internal auditors during audits.

Provides supervisory support within the department as needed.

Education and/or Experience

Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to talk or hear at moderate to loud noise levels.

The associate is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.

The performance of this position requires moderate exposure to the manufacturing areas that may require the use of personal protective equipment such as ear, eye, head and foot. Primary environment: cold or warm temperatures according to outside weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
