Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor for Teens

We are dedicated to fostering emotional well-being and resilience in teenagers through mindfulness and meditation practices. Our afterschool enrichment program aims to provide students with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of adolescence with confidence and calmness.

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking passionate and experienced mindfulness and meditation teachers to lead afterschool classes for teenagers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social and emotional education, mindfulness techniques, mindful movement, and a genuine love for working with adolescents.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and deliver engaging mindfulness and meditation curricula for teenagers.
- Facilitate mindful movement sessions that promote physical well-being and relaxation.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for students to explore their emotions and thoughts.
- Encourage open discussions about mental health and well-being.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and interests of students.

**Qualifications:**
- Experience teaching mindfulness and meditation, particularly to teenagers.
- Knowledge of social and emotional learning principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to connect with teenagers and foster a positive learning environment.
- Certification in mindfulness or related fields is a plus.
