Alcon Rotational Leadership Program (RADAR)

RADAR (Rotational Assignments Developing Alcon Resources) is a Rotational Program that is Alcon’s strategic response to future talent needs. It is a highly selective formal job rotation program that prepares participants to take on a General Manager direct report role or Quality Site Head role. Once selected, the program consists of 3 to 4 assignments in different locations, targeted for two years (inclusive of at least one international rotation which is typically the 3rd assignment). These assignments will increase in challenge in job scope and function. ROTATIONS 1st Assignment: [Leadership Development] Production Supervisor, QA Supervisor 2nd Assignment: [Functional/Technical Development] Engineering Manager/Lab Manager 3rd Assignment: [Cross Functional Development] Dept. Production Manager / Quality/ Operations 4th Assignment: Usually much like the 3rd Assignment but with more responsibility in preparation for a transition to a General Manager direct report or Quality Site Head position. **Internal Applicants: Please ensure you have aligned and have obtained the endorsement of your local HR Site Head, manager, and your site General Manager prior to applying to the position.** Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 10 yrs; Assoc. 6 yrs; M.S. 0 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 2 Years of Relevant Experience To be considered for the Alcon RADAR Program, you must be a citizen of the country of your current Alcon location. Must be willing and able to meet the requirements for relocation, travel and all other requirements for International Assignments during the course of the program. Preferred Experience/Skills Who are the ideal RADAR candidates? We are looking for candidates who meet the following preferred criteria: Aspirations to be a leader within Alcon Less than five (5) years of professional experience Internal Associates must have at least one (1) year tenure at Alcon (other criteria may be considered) Scientific education preferred Recognized as a high performer, with leadership skills Full mobility during program inclusion (typically 8 years) You are applying to be part of the Alcon Talent Pool.
