We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN supporting LS3 MANUFACTURING TEAM, you will be trusted to work on participating in all aspects of production processes at JOHNS CREEK MANUFACTURING in JOHNS CREEK, GEORGIA .
In this role, a typical day will include :
Select and load raw materials, operate manufacturing lines and secondary packaging equipment, perform lot changes and cleaning per schedules and coordinate machinery downtime.
Troubleshoot equipment faults and enter product and raw materials data into MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and SAP databases.
Operate production support equipment and lens inspection equipment as needed.
Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments, and conduct maintenance and 5s duties.
Perform corrective actions as needed or required.
Ensure the production, inspections and secondary packaging of DAILIES product is accomplished per SOP and quality standard, while meeting the production plan.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON :
High School Diploma or equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
Work hours : 11.5 hour Shifts – 2 week cycle (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off); 6 : 30PM – 6 : 30AM (EST)
