We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As a Warehouse Operator supporting our warehouse, you will be trusted to perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties, requiring the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data in Houston, TX.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Performing accurate and quick pick of inventory from warehouse shelves
Using a handheld scanner to record transactions
Inspecting inventory for defects and damages during inventory picking
Coordinating and storing picked inventory into totes or as advised
Working to ensure that all picking transactions for the day are completed
Following and maintaining safety standards in the work area and while performing job functions
Maintaining a clean work warehouse and work area
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
Work Hours: Night Shift: Monday – Thursday (4:00 PM CST – 2:30 AM CST)
