Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Writes computer programs to create analytic datasets, conducts statistical analyses for data management and quality assurance tasks as needed for RCTs, observational studies, and secondary analyses.
- Works with investigators to conduct analyses and responsible for developing statistical analysis plans. Serves on research project teams.
- Prepares tables, charts and graphs using statistical software for reports, manuscripts, publications, posters and presentations and occasionally writes drafts of analysis sections for manuscripts.
- Proofs text and tables for manuscripts by verifying tables in manuscripts against originally prepared tables or output results.
- Presents results of analyses at project meetings as requested.
- Prepares internal documentation in all programs including systematic programming procedures and summaries of the work completed.
- Applies statistical and technical skills in the design of research studies.
- Collects and analyzes statistical data.
- Evaluates research studies and recommends statistical procedures.
- Performs statistical analyses for a broad spectrum of data and studies.
- Performs programming to update system, services and reports on existing production databases.
- Performs statistical programming, reviews databases, handles quality assurance, provides program verification, and supports verification of statistical results. Makes recommendations regarding equipment and software
- Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $50,050 - $81,330
Education
- Master's degree in Math or a related field and required
- Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
