Schedule: Flexi/PRN Day Shift
Location – Alexander City Clinic
Under close supervision and guidance, to demonstrate proficiency commensurate with basic technical skills. To perform routine and emergency echocardiograms including, but not limited to, 2D, 3D, Doppler, myocardial mechanics, and ultrasound enhancing agents. To proficiently operate diagnostic ultrasound and ancillary equipment. To thoroughly complete appropriate documentation. To provide echocardiography services at all locations and schedules as needed to meet patient care needs.

Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound training program preferred. Proof of eligibility to test for RDCS or RCS certification required for new graduates of a sonography program.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
ARDMS or CCI certification in Echocardiography must be obtained within twelve (12) months from date of hire to position. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA) required. All candidates must successfully complete ultrasound scanning of the heart, subject to approval by the Echo Quality Panel, as part of the interview process.
