Position Description
Schedule: 3 Day 20 Hours a Week Day Shift
Location: Children's Harbor Building

Ensures patients receive appropriate protections under federal, state, and local laws and guidance when engaging with the clinical research conducted by the UAB Department of Pediatrics. This position will manage and ensure execution of regulatory requirements associated with various clinical research projects in the Department of Pediatrics. Projects include single-site and multi-site studies funded by NIH, other federal, non-federal, and industry clinical research projects.
Position Requirements
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience required.
Preferred: Knowledge of principles of clinical research including Good Clinical Practices (GCP) Strong command of clinical research regulatory requirements associated with federal, non-federal, and industry projects and processes, including UAB IRB, Single IRB, WIRB, and Advarra. Expert knowledge and comfort with computer software, especially ACCESS databases, and MS Office Suite.
