Job Description:
To develop relationships with the healthcare community and educate them on the services offered by Spain Rehabilitation Center. To respond to referrals made to the Spain Rehabilitation Center (SRC) promoting patient and referral source satisfaction. To educate patients and their families regarding admission criteria, their diagnosis, and responsibilities to participate in family education and training. Plays a crucial role in helping growth through patient referrals. Primary focus will be on cultivating strong referral relationships within a geographic territory. To complete the Pre-Admission Screen (PAS), collaborate with Pre-Admission Case Managers and Rehab Admissions team and assist with final decision to admit based on CMS regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Marketing, or an Allied Health field and three (3) years of related experience in a rehabilitation environment required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis preferred. Two or more years of clinical or healthcare experience preferred. One or more years in successful healthcare sales preferred. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing or currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Social Worker by the appropriate State of Alabama Board. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required. Current driver’s license in state where employed and acceptable driving record according to company policy.
