Job Description: To evaluate, plan, direct, and administer programs of physical therapy as prescribed by the referring physician and as evidenced by the patient's needs. To complete patient-related documentation, ensuring content and timeliness to meet all professional requirements and legal/regulatory specifications. To provide oversight of direct activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Attendants. May participate in clinical training and supervision of assigned students and interns. To work in Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation and/or Outpatient areas of care as assigned. To work in Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation and/or Outpatient areas of care as assigned.
Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
