We Are Hiring:
- Department: NICU
- Schedule: Full Time Days, flexible hours needed
- Hospital: UAB St Vincent's Birmingham
- Location: Birmingham, AL
Manage women's services activities, workflow and nursing resources.
- Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Assist with hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of nursing staff.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
- Monitor and adhere to budget(s). Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:

Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative
leadership experience required.
