What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Monitor position at UAB St. Vincent's?
We Are Hiring:
- Department: Vitrual Safety Monitoring
- Schedule: 6:45p-7:15a Sun, Mon, Tue
- Hospital: UAB St Vincent's East
- Location: Birmingham, AL
Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
- Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
- Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
- Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
- Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
