What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Safety Quality Coordinator - Quality Risk Management and Compliance position at UAB St. Vincent's?
We Are Hiring:
- Department: Quality Risk Management and Compliance
- Schedule: Full-Time Days, 5 8-Hour Shifts, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Hospital: St. Vincent's Chilton County
- Location: Clanton, AL
Organize and coordinate quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.
- Coordinate quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.
- Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.
- Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources. Develop detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Quality Professional preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
BSN Preferred
