We Are Hiring
- Department: Security
- Schedule: Evenings; Monday-Friday; 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
- Hospital: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham - Downtown
- Location: Birmingham, AL
What You Will Do
Monitor and communicate need for security services throughout assigned area(s).
- Manage and respond to calls and/or alarms and initiates immediate response.
- Coordinate and/or dispatch staff in response to requests for service. Retrieve recorded documentation as required.
- Monitor the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications.
- Initiate communication with team leader/manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assist with resolution of those issues.
- May be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees.
What You Will Need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
