Agent Liaison

UACL Logistics, LLC a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings Inc. is in search of candidates to fill a Agent Development Manager position in our Warren, MI office.

UACL Logistics, LLC provides Flatbed, Van, Over Dimensional, Oilfield, Reefer and Logistics Services throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. As one of the strongest truckload carriers in the nation UACL Logistics, LLC has the ability to provide transportation services for our customers, agents and owner operators. Our stability and experience within the industry has been proven with our continued growth, year after year.

Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects/priorities
• Experience solving people problems and the ability to motivate others
• Successful history in sales and business development
• Experience working with agents/franchises
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• College degree in a business-related field is preferred

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage a department of Agent Development Professionals
• Help small agents/franchises navigate the trucking industry and operational workflow
• Assisting agents in growing their business via various verticals
• Communicating and coordinating with agents, customers and corporate to resolve issues
• Guide standardization of analytics and KPIs across department to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Oversee agent training on various operational platforms
• Interact with customers/agents via phone in person visits, calls, email, and web portals to build relationships
• Attend key customer meetings and conferences to direct various growth initiatives
