Key Job Duties:
Financial Oversight:
- Lead campus budgeting, financial planning, and grant/contract administration
- Manage purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and payment tools
- Ensure compliance with University of Alaska financial policies
- Improve and streamline business office processes
Personnel Support:
- Work with HR and Fiscal departments to ensure staffing compliance and confidentiality
- Support hiring, personnel actions, and payroll processes
Academic & Student Support:
- Help manage scholarship funds and collaborate with Financial Aid
- Coordinate with local partners to enhance student financial resources
Office & Operations Management:
- Supervise Business Office & Communications Coordinator
- Oversee office functions, space scheduling, and rental agreements
- Drive digitization and system improvements
- Provide timely financial and operational reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, statistics or related field & 2 years professional fiscal experience OR or an equivalent combination of training and experience
