Art Work Preparation and Paint Technician
to join our highly skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for colorizing, applying coatings, and protecting pieces of various shapes and sizes.
Technical Skills :
- Ability to mix and apply polyester body filler
- Sand to sculpt and create form on a vast array of work including all shapes and sizes
- Excellent surface preparation skills for aluminum, bronze, and fiberglass
- Knowledge and ability to color, sand, and polish
- General understanding of high-end finishes and artwork context
- Able to consistently produce high-quality finishes
- Painting Process :
- Prepare work throughout the painting process
- May assist the Lead Painter in application of paint, primer, and clear-coats to various metals (bronze, aluminum, stainless)
