This role requires at least three days per week in our studio with occasional visits to our Rock Tavern workshop at least once a fortnight or as needed. Note that this position is entry-level, with a maximum of 2 years of experience in social media and digital marketing. Those with over 2 years of working experience and considerably midweight and senior-level candidates need not apply.

This person will work on various projects, including brand development and project communications, internal communications, thought-leadership activities, and events requiring creating and posting content across social media channels and the website to elicit a positive brand response. The Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator will report and work closely with the Marketing and Communications Executive. The responsibilities, desired skills, and expertise of this hire are:
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing social and digital strategies campaigns, from inception, copywriting, scheduling, management, and engagement through post-launch/analyzing data and delivering actionable insights for continued growth.
- Managing day-to-day campaign flow, including creative, and social listening.
- Help build and execute campaigns that drive engagement and growth on new and existing platforms.
- Grow to be a social expert internally and liaison externally with social platforms on their direction, best practices, and new opportunities.
- Participate in content creation initiatives and events in which the marketing team is involved.
- Stay up-to-date with new platforms, content formats, and trends to keep our channels relevant.
- High attention to detail and experience keeping multiple projects aligned and on track.
- Advise and contribute to team goals around engagement, growth, and visibility.
- Report progress on goals and relevant social marketing metrics for in-depth team reviews and reports for senior leadership.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, and communicate effectively with various fast-moving team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment focused on delivering marketing, communications, sustainability, and engagement projects.
- Provide support on employee engagement, people and culture, and sustainability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (marketing, communications, art, design, or related field preferred but not mandatory).
- 1 - 2 years of experience in social media and digital marketing, content creation, or digital communications. ie Google Analytics, CMS Technologies, MailChimp, Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud, SEMRush, Social Media Schedulers, etc.)
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail. Fluency in other languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic is not required but would be a valuable asset.
- Experience working with enterprise social media management platforms.
- Experience working in a large, cross-functional environment.
- Interest in sustainability and its role in marketing and business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic video/photo editing skills (Capcut, PremierPro, or AfterEffects) are a plus but not required.
- Strong sense of effective creative content, digital trends, internet and social media culture.
- Experience with live stream platforms.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with website management tools (e.g. WordPress, SquareSpace, Tank, etc.)
- Direct experience with Google Analytics, SEO content development, and performance tracking, or other website performance tools like SEMRush.
- Direct experience with social publishing and platforms like Falcon, Sprout Social, Sendible, Socialbakers/Emplifi, etc.
- Direct experience with social listening tools like SEMRush, Netbase, Spume, Falcon, etc.
