About the Role
We are seeking an Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at UASA. As a key member, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing appliances and equipment with a high level of quality and efficiency.
This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals with strong troubleshooting skills who can effectively manage their time to meet deadlines. You should have excellent communication skills to interact with supervisors, employees, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install home appliances and equipment
- Diagnose and repair appliances in customer homes accurately
- Provide cost estimates for repairs and installations, collect payment, and maintain records
- Efficiently use materials, keep company vehicles serviced, and complete reports as required
- Cross-train in related positions as needed
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- At least 18 years old
- Proficient in tablet-based technology
- Safe lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds without assistance
- Flexible hours (no weekends)
Physical Demands:
- Stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, or hear
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
