Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere will be key in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide informed assistance.
• Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively and organized.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock items.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse customers is essential.
• Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions and managing inventory is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
