This position offers a hybrid work schedule (2 days working from home, 3 days in the office).

About The Role
Uber Freight is seeking experienced customer service professionals with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics. In this role, you will manage transportation operations to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, all while delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (2 days working from home, 3 days in the office).
What The Candidate Will Do
- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the life cycle of an order
- Exceed customer on time pick-up and delivery expectations
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers
- Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiation
- Leverage TMS to effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modes
- Monitoring and resolving shipment data errors
- Proactive analysis to prevent service failures
- Proactively develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy
- Professional and timely communications
- Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement
- Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS financials
- Train new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating knowledge of customer business practices and workflow
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 years of transportation/logistics experience
- Problem solving/Critical thinking skills a must
- Bachelor's degree in transportation management or logistics
- Basic understanding of BI and Tableau reporting
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
