About The Role
The Sr. Business Data Analyst I will be responsible for anticipating customer needs and identifying solutions through data analysis / understanding of Uber Freight business model. Combine logistics and business knowledge with analysis acumen to serve as the primary point of contact for all things reporting (Carrier Sales, Account Management, Sales, etc.). This role will serve as an expert in how data is stored and retrieved to automate and streamline reporting processes. This position will work onsite at our office in Rogers, Arkansas.

About The Role

What The Candidate Will Do
- Report results and customer savings impact of Uber Freight strategic initiatives
- Report financial performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to Sr. Leadership team
- Generate freight benchmarking on a monthly and quarterly basis using a variety of internal and external market data sources
- Perform gap analysis on current reporting capabilities with a focus on automation and standardization where possible
- Process analysis to find efficiency gains throughout the business
- Develop content for internal / external stakeholders utilizing PPT, etc.
- Develop metrics and working with stakeholders to aggregate data points for visibility (new metrics, fields, etc in Tableau)
- Execute shipments built manually or through SPT into the TMS for freight coverage
- Optimize Customer Orders into shipments in the most cost effective way
- Process orders through SPT for optimization and consolidation
- Validate output and verify fit, e.g. weight, size, product, special shipping requirements and make necessary adjustments
- Accept special orders from customer/shipper contacts and build shipments directly into the TMS if not optimized via SPT; Notify Specialists of Hot shipments
- Exception management; review and correct EDI errors, ISD errors, etc.
- Use JIRA, including request new users and password resets via JIRA; provide specific and detailed comments to ensure Help Desk receives clear actionable requests within JIRA
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 3 years Analyst experience
- Proficient in Excel and Tableau
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Logistics, Business, Supply Chain Management, STEM, or another related field
- Transportation/logistics analyst experience
- SQL experience
- Knowledge of Python
