About The Role

The ideal candidate has experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management, with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
Shipping Duties
What the Candidate Will Do
- Prepare, pack, and label shipments according to company and carrier standards.
- Generate and process shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, invoices).
- Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL, freight) to schedule pickups.
- Verify outbound shipments for accuracy, ensuring the correct items and quantities are shipped.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Document damages, shortages, or discrepancies and report them to management.
- Accurately record inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Sort, label, and stock incoming materials in the appropriate locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (if certified).
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed, including order fulfillment and restocking.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Shift flexibility may be required, including overtime and weekends.
