Manager, Operational Standards and Partner Process for AV Fleets will set the standards for fleet operators who manage autonomous fleets on the Uber network, drive adherence and compliance to those standards, and support fleets in delivering positive business results.
Your role will focus on creating and implementing robust operational standards for new and experienced fleet partners and owning a comprehensive document change management program to keep partners and programs up to date and organized. to support the delivery of scaled global deployment of AVs on Uber. You will work with AV developers, incumbent fleet operators, industry experts and other ecosystem participants to deliver comprehensive standards for widespread adoption across partnerships at Uber.
This role will work closely with external partners, as well as internal functions, including Autonomous Mobility & Delivery, Support, Legal, Business Development, and Public Policy teams. For this role you should have excellent organizational habits, excellent creative problem solving skills, first rate analytical capabilities, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information across various audiences.

What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and manage operational standards programs for Uber's AV Fleets team, with the intention of driving operational consistency across partnerships and launches
- Own document change management for the AV Fleets team in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, with the goal of maintaining accurate documentation and providing traceability for key program
- Collaborate closely with internal partners, and contribute to planning and strategy as a subject matter expert for AV Operational standards, across areas including hiring, training, compliance, and vendor management
- Foster a culture of success by providing leadership and tailored support to a diverse group of global partners.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Technical Writing, Operations Management, or related fields
- 5 years of experience in policy writing and documentation change management, ideally in technology or automotive
- Strong experience and understanding of AV technologies and applicable industry regulations.
- Experience designing, drafting, and implementing robust operational standards, across multiple subjects, leveraging cross-functional relationships and expertise
- Ability to travel to support partnerships and operations nationwide
- Experience with risk management and mitigation in an operational field
- Data-driven decision making mentality, paired with a people-first approach
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Experience in managing and developing dynamic teams
- Operational Risk Management Certification
- HR or Compliance Professional Certification
- Experience with Instructional Design, specific to adult learners or technology
Salary : $124,000 - $172,000
