What You'll Do
Search Performance Optimization
- Monitor, analyze, and improve the efficiency of the search function, focusing on search result accuracy, relevance, speed, and uptime
- Continuously assess and improve key performance indicators like search success rate, bounce rate, and conversion rate
- Implement strategies to optimize query processing, reduce latency, and refine processes for more effective search outcomes
- Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of search metrics to identify opportunities for optimization, including building and maintaining dashboards
- Drive data-driven decision-making by providing insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user search behavior, identify friction points, and recommend optimizations to improve search relevance and user retention
- Support productrollouts, drive adoption across teams, and provide feedback on features and enhancements that enable discoverability and funnel conversion
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring search optimizations meet both user needs and business goals
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure experiments and new features runs smoothly and meets performance expectations
- 4 years of professional experience in operations, strategy, analytics, consulting, or a related field (e.g., tech, investment banking)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with SQL experience
- Proven ability and experience leveraging data to inform decisions, track performance, and identify actionable insights
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the grocery, retail, CPG, or e-commerce industries
- Data Analytics: Advanced experience with data analysis tools, including Python, R, or other programming languages
- User-Centric: Experience in improving user journeys and interface design
- Functional Expertise: Knowledge of search algorithms and experience with search-related analytics tools is a plus
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and competing deadlines
Salary : $116,000 - $143,000
