Job Description
We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our financial advisor channel by cultivating new advisor relationships and deepening existing partnerships. This role focuses on driving new business and increasing the volume of retirement plans advisors bring to Ubiquity. The ideal candidate has a strong sales and relationship management background in the retirement industry, a well-established network of financial advisors, and the ability to drive engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage deep advisor relationships to drive new business and expand Ubiquity’s presence in the advisor community.
- Identify, engage, and onboard financial advisors, RIAs, and wealth managers.
- Strengthen existing advisor partnerships to increase business volume and retention.
- Present and educate advisors on Ubiquity’s 401(k) solutions through meetings, webinars, and events.
- Attend and represent Ubiquity at industry trade shows and conferences to generate new leads.
- Develop tailored sales strategies and business plans to help advisors grow their retirement business.
- Track advisor engagement and manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulations to serve as a trusted resource for advisors.
Qualifications

Integrity: Takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight
Communication: Presents information clearly, concisely and logically through verbal and written communication in a professional way. Comfortable with public speaking and providing product demonstrations using video technology.
Organizing: Utilizes CRM tools and time management techniques to maintain a high volume of outbound calls and emails while ensuring efficient follow up and activity tracking
Skills Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years sales experience working in or selling to the Professional Association industry
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, and other associated computer programs
- Salesforce experience required
- Positive and energetic phone skills, active listening skills, strong writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a results-oriented sales team environment
- Successful lead follow-up and sales development skills
- Proficient in combatting objections to drive the conversation forward
