What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Coding Supervisor position at UBMD Internal Medicine?
UBMD Internal Medicine is seeking a Full-Time Inpatient Coding Supervisor for their billing department located at 77 Goodell Street.
The Inpatient Coding Supervisor (ICS) will supervise a team of inpatient coders and billers, and will be responsible for monitoring and organizing billing activity in order to promote efficiency within the billing department. The ICS will be responsible for ensuring reconciliation of daily charges for all UBMD Internal Medicine (UBMDIM) patient services with area hospitals in order to capture and maximize UBMDIM billing and revenue. Provides overall support to the Director of Revenue Cycle Administration (DRCA) in overseeing departmental functions and staff. Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred. CPC certification required. Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in billing or coding required. Knowledge with Epic and Ingenious Med a plus.
