We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 18 pediatric subspecialties. Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth daily operations within the assigned specialty.
- Monitor patient flow, appointment scheduling, and clinical efficiency.
- Assist in coordinating staff assignments and schedules to maintain coverage.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and clinical standards.
- Act as the first point of contact for staff needing guidance or issue resolution.
- Provide on-the-job training and onboarding for new employees.
- Support staff in adhering to practice policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Recognize and address minor performance concerns before escalation.
- Promote a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, billing accuracy, and documentation standards.
- Monitor and address compliance risks in collaboration with the practice manager.
- Gather data on patient satisfaction and staff productivity for ongoing improvement.
- Assist in identifying and implementing best practices within the specialty.
- Identify and propose workflow improvements to enhance patient care and staff efficiency.
- Help troubleshoot daily operational challenges.
- Collaborate with other team leads to share best practices and improve cross-specialty coordination.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in pediatric specialties.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in computer software and applications relevant to divisional operations.
- In-depth knowledge of scheduling, insurance verification and benefits, and billing policies/procedures.
- Experience with AllScripts, Group Management, Phreesia and FollowMyHealth Dashboards preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
